Our Programmes.

At ANJITA Child Development Foundation, we work with children, women, young people and communities to create opportunities for healthier, safer and more prosperous lives. Our programmes are designed to address interconnected challenges and promote sustainable change through community-led and inclusive approaches.

Early Childhood Development (ECD)

We promote the holistic development of young children by supporting nurturing care, responsive parenting, early learning, health, nutrition, protection and safe environments. We work with parents, caregivers, communities and service providers to ensure that every child has the best possible start in life and the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Education and Skills Development

We support inclusive and quality education while strengthening opportunities for children, young people and women to develop knowledge and practical skills for the future. Our programmes promote access to learning, life skills, vocational and technical training, and pathways that enable individuals to participate productively in society and the economy.

Health and Well-being

We work to improve the health and well-being of children, women, young people and communities. Our interventions promote maternal and child health, nutrition, hygiene, mental and social well-being, health awareness and access to essential services. We work with communities and relevant stakeholders to promote healthier lifestyles and strengthen supportive environments.

Economic Empowerment

We strengthen the economic resilience and independence of women, young people and vulnerable families through entrepreneurship, vocational and technical skills development, financial literacy and livelihood opportunities. By supporting individuals to develop sustainable sources of income, we contribute to improved household well-being and greater opportunities for children and families.

Gender Equality and Social Inclusion

We promote gender equality, women’s empowerment and the inclusion of marginalized and vulnerable groups. Our programmes address barriers that limit participation, opportunities and access to services while promoting the rights, leadership and meaningful participation of women, girls, young people and communities in development processes.

Our Approach

Across all our programmes, we work in partnership with communities, government institutions, civil society organizations, development partners and other stakeholders. We use evidence, community participation, capacity strengthening, advocacy and innovation to create sustainable and measurable change.

Together, we are working towards a future where every child, woman and young person has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.
