Anjita Foundation is implementing the Malezi Centre Project in the Pwani Region
ANJITA Child Development Foundation, in collaboration with Tanzania Early Childhood Development Network (TECDEN), is supporting the establishment of two Community-Based Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centres in Mkuranga and Chalinze Councils, Pwani Region, through the Malezi Centre Project. The initiative promotes early learning and nurturing care, with a focus on five essential areas: good health, adequate nutrition, early learning, safety and security, and responsive caregiving.
The centres are being established through a community-led approach, engaging communities and local stakeholders in planning, implementation, and ownership. This approach is designed to strengthen local ownership and contribute to the long-term sustainability of the centres and services.
