Anjita Organization Undergoes Training of Trainers ( ToTs) Soft and VSLA Skills.
Anjita is currently participating in a five-day capacity-building training started on 9th February, 2026.The training is being facilitated by Swisscontact, focusing on Soft Skills development and Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) methodologies comprised 16 ToTs.
The primary objective of the training is to equip trainers with essential soft skills and practical knowledge on VSLA implementation, enabling them to effectively support and empower beneficiaries of the Young Mothers jnder EmpowerHer through Skills ( EHS) Project. By strengthening the capacity of trainers, the program seeks to ensure the delivery of high-quality, impactful training to young women and girls.
The EHSProject is a key initiative aimed at promoting economic empowerment among young women and girls in the Coast Region of Tanzania. Through improved access to financial literacy, savings groups, and inclusive financial services, the project supports participants in building sustainable livelihoods and enhancing their socio-economic well-being.
This training marks an important step in reinforcing Anjita Organization’s commitment to community development and women’s empowerment. The skills and knowledge gained are expected to significantly contribute to strengthening community-based savings groups and fostering long-term economic resilience among young women.
