Anjita foundation in collaboration with Pwani Government has conducted soft skills training program under the EmpowerHer Through Skills initiative funded by Swisscontact is empowering 150 young mothers from and through practical and life-changing education.

The training covers key areas including gender equality, mental health awareness, reproductive health education, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, ICT skills, and business management with a focus on record keeping.

The initiative aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions, improve their well-being, and build sustainable livelihoods. Through interactive learning sessions, young mothers are gaining skills to become economically independent and active contributors to community development.

The program highlights the importance of investing in young women and mothers as drivers of inclusive economic growth and social transformation.
